About Voicework

Voicework is a wonderful opportunity to work with your voice in a supportive environment. It is a truly profound way of connecting to your authentic self through the power of sound. Nikki uses her deep knowledge and understanding of voice, along with her remarkable intuition when working with groups or individuals.  Voice circles will usually involve chanting, singing, movement and some group work.

Important Note

Nikki's work with sound and resonance can be powerful. Although the effects are often therapeutic and profound, and the space is held and supportive, it is not psychotherapy. Where issues arise, individuals may choose to seek additional support.

Open Voice Circles

The perfect introduction to Nikki’s work, an Open Voice Circle gives you the space to explore all the possibilities of your voice in a held and non-judgemental environment. Open Voice Circles are not necessarily about ‘singing’ but are a chance to connect with the core sound that runs through your life.

A typical Open Voice Circle begins with a chant and you will be encouraged to choose an individual intention or goal that provides the foundation for your session. Working with the group dynamics and using a range of skills appropriate to the group, Nikki will lead us through sound explorations that may include partner and small group work as well as some movement.

It’s essential to book these sessions in advance and at least one Open Voice Circle is a prerequisite to doing any other group Voicework with Nikki. Initial Open Voice Circles are £15 but subsequent sessions cost £12.

Advanced Course

The advanced course provides a powerful opportunity to go on a voice-journey that explores the deepest levels of sound vibration over four consecutive weeks. Working with the same group for the duration of the course provides a highly supportive and safe space in which you can release limiting patterns and beliefs and experience the resonance at the core of your being.

The cost of the course is £125 (£25 non-refundable deposit) including a complimentary OVC to be taken within 6 months at a time of your choice. You are asked to commit to all four sessions although one session can be missed with prior agreement from Nikki at the start of the course.

Facilitators Training

Nikki's next Facilitator Training Course will run from the end of 2009. It will consist of four residential weekends in London. In between these weekends each participant must also commit to group work with other members of the course and four 1-to-1's with Nikki. Exact dates are yet to be confirmed. The cost of the course will be £2500. To qualify to take part in this training you must have previously attended a minimum of two advanced courses and one 1-to-1 with Nikki.

Reality as Resonance

Our world is created from the power of our word. As we sew the seeds in resonance  of what we truly want we see the syllables of what we have spoken manifest into existence.

We will make a powerful intention for our daily lives and through the practice of chanting / free sound and movement and power statements we will align with our true note and resonate who we truly are in the world.

This day promises to be expansive/uplifting and nourishing and opportunity for full self expression.
